2018 was a milestone year for Clement May, the business hit £50m in annualised revenue which led to the business being acquired by Staffing 360 Solutions in June 2018
Chris Rowbotham, Managing Director of Clement May, was appointed shortly after as the combined Managing Director of Clement May and Longbridge 360 Recruitment.
Mr. Rowbotham added,

Our work is client led, most of which operate on an international scale, meaning we are exposed to a wide range of roles which has significantly contributed to our diverse, high calibre and substantial network within the IT sector.

Clement May was established when a gap in the market was spotted for a boutique, knowledgeable firm, that could deliver a search mentality into the contingent mid-level market concentrating on a personal and channelled service to fewer clients which is reflected by our 100% year-on-year growth.
Clement May’s reputation was built very quickly on the company’s core principles. The teams were kept small, so new policies and practices could be adopted and delivered in an agile and efficient manner. Clement May made the hiring process as simple and as successful as possible which gained them more lucrative business with high profile clients who brought into the brand as well as the people that ran the company.
To date, Clement May has collated a number of business awards along its rise to success: Recognised by their industry peers as the Recruiter Fast 50’s Top Ten as well as the FT 1000 showed how quickly the companies ethos was working. Clement May was also honoured as a major RPO with an FTSE50, and in 2017 Chris and his team were awarded the title of mostinnovative employment & recruitment agency for London and the South East at the UK Recruitment Awards.
2017 marked the moment where real growth in the business elevated the company.
